I have a confession: I totally used to pooh-pooh the concept of baby shoes.

I used to think, "why the hell do babies need shoes, when they can't even walk yet?"

With The Boy, who was a June baby, there wasn't even a need for socks until late Fall. 

And then I had a January baby (aka BAM). His little feet needed coverage, so I used socks. And socks, well...

They sucked. They were tiny, and they fell off all the time. Buying yet more pairs of newborn-sized socks was ridiculous, as they got expensive.

They have seriously been worth their weight in gold, and now Icompletely understand the following they have. They stay on those little itty bitty feet. They keep those little toes covered when it's cold and rainy, and they look absolutely adorable. I bought a pair of crib moccs, and then upgraded to the next size.
