If you've been following along with us for a while, you'll know that a few years ago we announced a new stockist who had a different kind of business model: a mobile one. Sho of Maggie Mae's Mobile Bookshop had converted her bright red trailer to be a mobile kids bookstore and made it her mission to bring affordable kids books and local gifts to wherever she could!

Fast forward to this year, and Sho realized Maggie Mae's needed a more permanent home (especially since customers kept asking where her store location was!). Sho opened Maggie Mae's Kids Bookshop in downtown Gresham this spring and is having her ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday!!

I've always been a fan of Sho (and not because she was one of my first stockists!), and she has incredible knowledge of children's literature and enthusiasm for bringing in a variety of titles that will help kiddos learn more about diversity, acceptance, and inclusivity. As a parent, I wish her bookshop was closer to bring my boys to peruse all her titles (she does sell books and goods online, though!).

So if you're in the Portland, Oregon and Gresham area, go shop at Maggie Mae's Kids Bookshop (and be sure to go to her ribbon cutting this Friday, April 13 at 9:15am!
