No, really:

In Powell's on Hawthorne.

For those not in the Portland metro area, Powell's is an institution. When I have people visiting Portland, there are five places I recommend they visit:

1- Crafty Wonderland

2-Portland Saturday Market

3- Fabric Depot

4- Get a reaaaally good cup of coffee, either from Nostra Familia, Coava, or Stumptown, and

5- Powell's. The flagship store in downtown Portland takes up an ENTIRE city block. They shelve new and used books together, and is the ULTIMATE bookstore experience.

MarshMueller may not have a presence in the downtown location (yet), but you can find Bibs at Powell's on Hawthorne and Organic Flannel Swaddle Blankets at Powell's Home and Garden (also on Hawthorne, just a few blocks down from Powell's on Hawthorne).

The Buyer chose some of my favorite fabrics for the Bibs that I haven't even had time to sew up for my own shop, so if you want to check them out, go do it (and go buy some books in a real brick-and-mortar bookstore for once!).
