    What is Tique Box?

In short, it’s Portland. In a box.

It’s a monthly subscription box featuring items from Portland small business owners (OMG, that’s me!).

The creators of Tique Box, Inger and Paige, started the service to give people a little taste of home (Portland) to anyone, anywhere.

“With so many options for consumers to spend with big name brands, we want Tique Box to be a unique subscription box that showcases the talents and crafts of small, artisan businesses. We knew that we needed to tell the story of the people behind the work. Many of the vendors featured in this month’s box have spent years dreaming of launching their own businesses. Now, they are now sustaining their livelihood by manufacturing their products in community kitchens and in home-based studios. Their stories speak to the ingenuity of Portland’s creatives.”

    — Inger, from the Tique Box Blog

I’m super stoked to say these little coffee sleeves, which started out as a way to use up scraps of leftover fabric, will be included in this month’s box. While the cutoff for the September box has already passed, you can always snag a sleeve or tworight here. I made sure to double-insulate them (as I have wimpy fingers), and they’re machine washable (because I’m a klutz).

Coming in the September Tique Box!
