  • SHOP + PARTY LOCAL :: Hooray Haroo in Sellwood!

Now fans of MarshMueller in two areas of the U.S. can support local small retailers AND can get their hot little hands on some MarshMueller Diaper + Wipe Clutches, some styles are exclusive to the boutiques themselves!!

And people in my own hometown can shop my line in person AND support another local business!

Check out Hooray Haroo in Sellwood!

The owners, Roxy and Staci, have been creating gorgeous and amazing children’s apparel and accessories for years under their Hooray Haroo line, and recently decided to open up a storefront in Sellwood. Not only are they showcasing their amazingly gorgeous items, they are also carrying handmade apparel and accessories by other local designers, including yours truly.

This time, I don’t suck and actually have pics of their beautiful shop!

Hooray Haroo is in Sellwood on the corner of SE 13th and Umatilla.

I’ve been meaning to come and visit their shop since it opened on Mother’s Day, but a studio move + vacation + custom order backup from said vacation = no free time for Holly.

Roxy and Staci are actually hosting their Grand Opening party TONIGHT (again, I suck on the timeliness issue here) from 5-8pm. Come and visit this adorable, amazing shop (Seriously, they STENCILED the floor with a gorgeous grey and white floral/lace pattern, created the paper pom poms in the window themselves, AND somehow they have time to create an amazeballs line of clothing AND run a boutique. I don’t think they sleep).

I didn’t take photos of the floor or the handiwork of their shop, so that you’d be intrigued and just HAVE to go down there and see it yourself.

SQUEE!! There they are, looking all cute on display!

Being a supporter of small businesses and suppressed shopaholic, I just HAD to buy something, and with The Boy’s birthday party coming up, I decided on the super cute Kitty Egg Crayons. Which are perfect for The Boy; he did stop trying to eat the crayons, but he is notorious for breaking the regular size crayons in half due to his Toddler Brute Strength. And he loves, loves, loves cats, so it’s really the perfect gift for him (okay, I’ve also been squirreling away a few other items, but I’m the most excited about these).

They even have a coloring book!!

So be sure to visit Hooray Haroo tonight at their Grand Opening party!
