No, it’s not where we learn to be con artists to our mothers, it’s a convention for parents to collaborate, discuss, and learn about parenting in the modern world.  The convention emphasizes natural techniques, including babywearing, breastfeeding, and attachment parenting.

It’s this Saturday at the Jupiter Hotel, and I’m incredibly fortunate to have my husband Rob helping me at my booth. The Boy is fortunate enough to spend the whole day with Grammy! I would love to have him with us, but I can just foresee him being incredibly bored an hour into the show. Believe me, he’s going to have a lot more fun hanging out with his Grammy.

And no, he doesn’t tolerate babywearing anymore. It would be nice if he did, as Rob wouldn’t have to hold him for 90+ minutes during Timbers matches (okay, I help carry him, but it’s not for very long).

I’d tell you to come and swing by MommyCon if you’re in the area, but…

The event is completely sold out.

I know, I’m a total jerk by taunting you about it now.

But at least this opens it up for a follow-up post after the event, as I have NO idea if this event is going to be crazy busy or what.

Stay tuned next week for photos and a recap of MommyCon!
