  • THIS Sunday :: Astoria Sunday Market!

I'll be finally making my 2019 debut at the Astoria Sunday Market this Sunday!

Fun fact: the above image was a painting I participated in with group members at the Astoria Sunday Market luncheon my first year- my friend Julie did the majority of the painting (after all, she IS a painter), and I helped by adding the Wacky Wavy Inflatable Arm Guys- it was our take on the Sunday Market if the sea lions invaded and how we would combat them (narrator: It didn't work before, and it wouldn't work here).

It's hard to believe it's my fourth year as a vendor, and I'm continually grateful for the citizens of Astoria and tourists alike who visit, shop, and enjoy the Astoria Sunday Market year to year. Not only is my revenue from the market a considerable part of my income, I use the market to be my very own test market- I can see what products resonate with you, what questions you're asking, what products you'd like me to make in addition to my existing line. I love the face-to-face interaction with every booth visitor, whether they buy or not.

All the vendors accepted into the market have applied and put through a juried process, which means our stuff is up to snuff! One of the requirements of the Astoria Sunday Market is that the product you sell must be grown, made, or produced by you- no imported or multi level marketing companies here.

The market runs from Mother's Day to the second week in October, and I'm usually there at the kickoff, but I was in MAUI for a week! Yep, Rob and I took our first (real) vacation in nine years and it was magical and much-needed. Now I'm ready to roll up my sleeves again and ready to start the market with energy and positivity.

    See you there!
