Super Mega Slashie Update!

It’s International Women’s Day! If you’re new here, helloooo! I’m Holly, and I’m gonna introduce myself to newbies and post a massive update:

🤓 I’m a maker/illustrator/ecommerce nerd. So I’m a Slashie! And I’ve been doing a bunch of things with each of those slashies. 😂

✨ I tend to not update often when doing some deep work. Now that I’ve come up for air, I’m ready to bring y’all along for the ride, yay! Get in the car, we’re going updating!

🦄 First up- Marshmueller, aka my handmade business: I’ve discontinued some product categories, hired a sewist (go check out her yummy fibers at @beautifulfiberlife ), and am still selling wholesale (to indie retailers), and to folks directly on my website. I have some new prints coming…I just have to shoot them first. 📷😂

✏️ Next up- Illustration! I used to draw a lot as a kid and was the cartoonist for my high school paper (remind me to tell you a story someday of how I pissed off some racists in my tiny high school), and have picked up my pencil again over the last 2-3 years. Initially my stickers, DIY kits, etc. were sold under the Marshmueller brand name. But that just didn’t feel right. So I created a NEW brand and name that is much more fitting: hollymarshmallow. I am nearly done with the brand design, and I cannot wait to show it off. 😍

👾 Next next up- services. I really love sharing my knowledge and teaching others when it comes to running a creative, product-based business. I’ve been helping folks for more than five years, whether it’s mentoring, consulting, or just commiserating about living life as a creative. Now I’m helping folks build brands, websites, or email marketing that reflects who they/their business truly are on the inside. This biz is Ecommerce Arcade, and while I’m 95% done with the foundation, I’ve still got a brand and website to design!

🐿 You might be thinking that’s a lot, and yeah, it is. But as someone who was diagnosed with ADHD as a grown-ass adult, it works for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

🦀 I’m also a Cancer, enneagram 9, and a breast cancer survivor. The irony of my astrological Sun sign is not lost on me.
